Setelah mikir-mikir mau lewat rute mana yang kira-kira nggak bakal macet, akhirnya aku putusin naek angkot sarijadi-st hall.  Di luar dugaan, ternyata rutenya nggak macet, kecuali pas mau nyampe istana plaza di perempatan pasir kaliki.  Setelah jalan kaki dikit karena angkotnya ternyata tiba-tiba berbelok sebelum sampe istana plaza, akhirnya aku transit naek angkot antapani. Sepanjang jalan tadi aku masih mikir-mikir mau beli hp smart, biar bisa internet murah meriah, minimal 6 bulan.  Hal yang memberatkan aku buat beli hp Smart tsb adalah fakta bahwa HP tersebut berada pada frekuensi yang nggak sama dengan cdma lain, iya gitu?? Gitu lah kata pedagannya pas aku tanyain dengan serius.. apa ni HP ntar kapan-kapan bisa diganti kartunya pake operator lain??? Jawabannya g bisa, bukan lantaran di lock. tapi lantaran frekuensinya emang beda.. iya gitu.. ndak tau lah.. aku belum sempet meneliti. Tapi gara-gara info tsb aku jadi menunda mbelinya, malah mbeli kartu starterpack indosatm2 broom unlimited. E.. ndak taunya kurang berkah rupanya. Tu starterpack indosatm2 semenjak diaktifin sampe sekarang.. jarang banget konek ke internet, skalinya konek kecepatannya cuma 38 kbps.. ya.. cape deh..

Jadi tadi sore aku bertekad bulat akan membeli smart. Walaupun sempat ragu.. apa aku nggak termakan isu-isu,  trend pasar, dlsb, dlsb, panik teknologi, histeris mengejar teknologi baru, trend baru dlsb??? Sepanjang jalan aku berargumentasi dengan diri sendiri. Lumayan kan kalo beli HP smart tsb, internet gratis 70rb per bulan selama 6 bulan. Lumayanlah..

Setelah cukup lama nangkring di angkot antapani yang ngetem. Akhirnya mendekati BEC.  So far jalanan lancar, nggak macet. Menjelang deket BEC agak rame juga kendaraannya. tapi masih lancar-lancar lah.. . Di BEC biasa kendaraan agak padat.  Aku udah siap-siap mau turun, langsung ke lantai bawah, ke atm dulu. Tapi eitt.. ntar dulu.. koq tutup ya..?? Untung belum turun.. . Ternyata pas aku teliti lebih seksama. BEC keliatannya dalam persiapan menuju tutup. Semua karyawan bergegas keluar, gerbang ditutup sebagian, dan semua kendaraan berjalan keluar dari BEC.  Diperhatikan di sepanjang jalan, keliatan banyak orang bergegas.. rata-rata bergegas pulang.

Ya udah.. bukan rejeki rupanya.. atau emang udah suratan nasibku belum kejatahan HP smart ini. Padahal kemaren-kemaren udah aku timang-timang di tangan. Gara-gara mengharapkan indosatm2 broom, aku nggak jadi beli HP smart ini.

Trus aku melanjutkan perjalanan pulang, menempuh rute jalan merdeka dan masuk jalan Jawa. Jalanan lancar, tapi kendaraan lumayan banyak. Trus aku naek angkot Riung Bandung-Dago di perempatan jl.Belitung.  Juga lancar sampe bawah paspati. Nah.. di atas paspati, arah ke gasibu barulah keliatan kendaraan menyemut.. wualah… g tau mau pada kemana tu kendaraan. Selanjutnya lancar lagi sampe di simpang dago. Suasana di simpang dago agak lebih rame dari biasanya.. kendaraan jumlahnya rapat .. heh.. kayak mau lebaranan aja.. Aku sampe merinding ngeliat fenomena taun baruan ini. Lebih-lebih dari malem lebaranan aja.

Nah waktu menyelesaikan tulisan ini, pas banget menjelang jam 12.00 malem. kira2 5 menit lagi kalo ngikutin jam komputer ku.. tapi mungkin kalo ngikutin jam orang2 kayaknya udah pas 12.00 teng.. soalnya di luar udah kedengeran bledag-bledug kembang api.. susul menyusul.. kayak ada perayaan apa..gitu..

eh… ngomong-ngomong apa sih di Indonesia yang nggak jadi komoditi?? Apa bener kita sedemikian heboh merayakan taun baru…? apakah sudah menjadi tradisi taun menahun, berurat akar, sehingga semua lapisan masyarakat merasa perlu merayakannya sedemikian hebohnya..? atau itu semua cuma akal-akalan orang2 bisnis menciptakan suasana supaya heboh.. sehingga mereka bisa jual apa aja untuk melengkapi kehebohan tersebut?? Jual kembang api, jual terompet, jual pertunjukan, jual segala macem. Dikondisikan bahwa event ini sangat penting, sangat saklar eh.. sakral.. sehingga harus ditunggu menit ke menitnya…

Aku berani taruhan, pasti jam segini jalan dago macet total. Semua orang tumplek blek ke jalan tsb.  Pasti lebih rame dari pasar baru di siang hari. Ngomong-ngomong coba tanya deh ke salah satu dari mereka. Ngapain lu disini? merayakan taun baru .. .. katanya..!! tanya deh.. apa sih yang dirayain..? ya mungkin hura-huranya aja.. senang-senangnya aja.

Bukannya aku bersifat antipati ama taun baruan. cuma kok kayaknya kita ini udah kepeleset berlebih-lebihan dalam mengekspos sesuatu, sehingga yang tadinya biasa-biasa aja kok dikemas menjadi sesuatu yang luar biasa. Satu hal yang mesti diinget.. sebenernya ada banyak pihak yang ‘berbisnis’ di balik sesuatu yang biasa kemudian diekspos menjadi luar biasa.

Jadi.. buat yang taun baruan.. ya taun baruan lah. cuma inget.. it just one night.. just one ordinary night.. like another night in your life..  atau yang lebih signifikan lagi.. nunggu jam 12.00 teng.. sama aja lah dengan jam 12.00 teng malam2 sebelumnya. Besok kita tetap harus bangun pagi, menghadapi realita.. nothing happen.. nothing changes.. kecuali kalo kita merubahnya.. dan untuk merubah, nggak usah nunggu taun baru…!!!

For Appointment as Part time lecturer:

2. Minimum GPA is 2,75

from those description, we can break down from bold text, that not actually built, but then it comes into something really exist. It was happen on the initiate project of cyberprov when the government representative ask us to make preliminary perception based on many process / element that they have been defined / analyze.

What I want to share here.. how the work collaboration happen between academic and government. Let’s start …..

We (me and my friends) are a member of association, which cover all lecturer in computer school. One of our program is make close relationship with another organization to provide opportunities for our students or the member (lecturers) to involve on some activity that categorized as “IT activity”, that’s could be contain field study (for students), tutorial, and training (for lecturers). I don’t know how the really realization of this program. So…. one day.. my colleague send me a sms, mentioned that they’re waiting for me to attended on a meeting held by gov. institution, he asked me to bring up my resume and certificate. Without any background information, I came, and then the result on that meeting that they will build a team for e-gov something (i just can not mentioned the project), and for this team, they need some expert in some fields (which identified by resume and certificate). No clear explanation what is our job description? what is our delivery? when it should be deliver? and so on. So.. we’re all dismissed.. !! (I didn’t ask the others because i feel that they are have higher level than me, actually, I feel the ‘dummy’ one there!!).

Without no information, after 2 months, suddenly, I, again, accepted a sms from my colleague, mentioned that they’re invited me for ‘birthday celebration’, and ‘brainstorming session’ with one company, the partner of the gov institution. When ? Friday afternoon. Actually, the brainstorming session was starting at 3.00 pm, and finished at about 5.30 pm. The result from that brainstorming, they ASK our help to merge the point of view between them (a government side) and the company (outside the government) to build a compact and representative presentation about how to promote a ‘cyberprov’ to governor. If this proposal success, so they will make ‘open competition’ to execute the project. They have all, all elements, articles, power point slide, and so on, but they don’t have any idea how to manage it, how to explain it in a simplest way without loss any content. When the deadline ? wednesday, this week!!

Then.. they ask us to take it as a homework, evaluate and analyze it, and on saturday or sunday, they ask us to present something. It’s not easy because these are our holiday time and we usually use that days with our family. But, with good will, I do the job, 60% seriously, because i spare my time to think about it, explore it, and make some concept to help them, and present it on sunday. the respond was very positive and we were agree to pursue this concept by make a breakdown or detail concept.

Because it was too late, I ask to go home early, at about 5.30 pm and ask them to continue define the concept. At home, that night i heard that they (also) gone home not far after I was home. This morning, I still have good perception, and try to start continue the job, while standing on my class for teaching. Then suddenly some idea passing away in my mind. How much they will pay me if i finished this job? Then I try to confirm it to my colleague and the answer is : DON’T KNOW!! or ‘PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH?’.

How come ??? because (they said) we don’t have any ‘commitment’, because we are coming from an ‘association’, so we just expect if this proposal are approved, then we can come to ‘competition’ to be an executor (as the others can come).

So.. when i write this article, i think it could be a virtual project, with virtual skill, and virtual commitment, no real commitment, and that’s mean no real project, and no real money. Who will believe with virtual commitment? I don’t believe it. Don’t look at me as person who always ask money as benefit. But please look at me as a person who try to finished the job professionally. Don’t make the same perception, between me and the person that represent the others company, who is always said that they will also available any time the gov need. That is their main job, they had been paid for that. They did not leave something, they did not leave their job, their family, and did not loose any money for that. How about me? I leave my assignment, my job (teaching), and will loose some money also my credibilities (because i leave the class suddenly, or come late), who will pay for that? nobody?? Is it fair?? I think, if they really need my contribution, they need to pay for that. Because i use my time, my resource, my mind, and leave my job and my family, to help them. Are they the people with poverty so I need to help them with no compensation??

b. The internet connection too slow.. so it makes me desperate before loading all pages finished

c. Too much topic, in once time, sometimes I have more than one topics that i really want to explain, but have little time to type.

OK, according these reason, today all the reason exist. Too busy, too slow and too much. Busy, because today i promise to finish my extra job, to blend the concept of Jabar Cyberprov. The problem is, all the material I just got it last night, and did not have much time to read and learn it. Too slow.. the connection from NTC telkom where I am online right now is very slow. And the last, too much topic. Today actually I want to write about three topics :

3. The Manipulator

OK.. I try the last one… not because this is the highest priority, but it is easier than the others.

How about this one? I don’t know!! Maybe it will be good planned or just same like my previous blog. Unplanned. But for this site, I will try to post my article in English. Why?? Not just because I am good in writing English, but just because I want to practise for this. So, please don’t make any assement how good my sentence in this blog.  I hope by this blog I can share my opinion, experience, and so on to my friends, around the world…(really….??). Yes I hope.
